warpstarwem submitted: I think he should be in it, but not as big of a part. But at the same time not too small that new fans are disappointed.
I totally agree that the focus needs to be back on the main group. Maybe Walter can be Scooter’s assistant or something.
As a former state manager, having an assistant is REALLY helpful.
probosowa submitted: I concur on Walter returning since he symbolizes the rebirth of the Muppets when you think about it. Both in the context of the movie and the new wave of interest in Muppets after the movie's success.
True. Plus, he is pretty adorable. And Pepe was introduced about 16 years ago and moved into the core group. Bean Bunny was established in the core group about six years before that. (Though Rizzo kind of replaced him, in my opinion.)
Not saying we NEED a new character every decade or so (how weird is it to say that? I feel old.) but the script called for a new outside character.
Anonymous submitted: Do you think the new movie will have Walter in it?
That’s a good question. I assume so and I think it’ll be really interesting to see how he’s incorporated into the group. I would honestly be really disappointed if they introduced him in the last movie, told him he was part of the group and then we never saw him again.
What do you guys think?

Hey guys! Tomorrow Swazzle Workshop is having a benefit to raise money to fight puppeteer Michael Earl’s colon cancer. They’ll mainly be selling puppet building materials, but there’s an exciting addition as well. They’ll be doing a silent auction for a Walter doll signed by Peter Linz, Walter’s performer. Also, if you are the highest bidder on the doll, Peter Linz and Walter will give you a personal call. How awesome is that?!
Swazzle Workshop’s address is 4525 San Fernando Rd., Unit F, Glendale, CA 91204. The benefit/auction will be taking place tomorrow between 8am to 4pm. You can find more information here.
When I saw this, I instantly knew I’d like “The Muppets”.
That little girl. OMG I love you little girl. XD
