In honor of what would be Jim and Jane’s 51st wedding anniversary, here is a video of Piggy and Kermit’s wedding scenes!

In July 1989, Jim Henson and Frank Oz made an appearance at the Puppeteers of America national festival at MIT in Boston. The event was documented and added to the Puppeteers of America audio-visual archive with a special introduction by Frank Oz made in 1993. Throughout the one-hour discussion, Henson and Oz perform Kermit the Frog, Rowlf the Dog, Cookie Monster, Animal, Fozzie Bear and Grover. some of the topics include the history of Henson Associates, research on Sesame Street, and behind the scenes info about the Muppets, The Dark Crystal, The Jim Henson Hour, and Little Shop of Horrors. Frank Oz also demonstrates how they perform the Muppets on film and television.

Sesame Street - BORN TO ADD

Brilliant tribute to The Boss from Jim Henson and the boys.  It makes me smile so big.  It’s amazing how well done this is too.  It’s like the bastard child of Jungleland and Born To Run and they made it work! It really captures the spirit of Springsteen and that gritty urban feel of his early records.  Awesome video.

“I Like You” - A Wilson and House/Bert and Ernie video.

I love “House” and since there’s only three episodes left until it’s over for good. I figured I’d show my favorite House and Wilson as Ernie and Bert videos. Which would be all of them that there are out there. So enjoy!

Some guys like dolls and some gals like trucks and that’s OK!

This is one of my favorite Kermit performances of all time (from the 1974 Muppet Valentine’s Day Special).  I’ve always loved this song, but Kermit + banjos makes it even better!

OMG I forgot all about this skit! Oh Kermit in the beginning. Oh my frog.

And just listen to Jerry harmonizing so perfectly with himself.

A new interview with Brian Henson. (25 minutes long!)

I’m just making myself weep uncontrollably this week. Honestly.

Freaking loose it every time when they lift Frank up. Tears everywhere. Loosing Jim and being at Richard’s side so much, so often, near the end of his life, I’m seriously in awe of Frank’s strength. It’s really hard not to watch this video and look at anyone else while Frank is on screen.

Dave’s amazing performance of “I’m Going to Go Back There Someday”.

Steve’s angelic voice with “You Are My Sunshine.”

And Richard giving Scooter the ‘chin up’ at the beginning of “Just One Person”. Be more of a perfect human being, Richard. I dare you. Actually, no, because I can’t handle it. Steve and Kevin holding it together before Jerry sings. Frank and Dave’s hug at the very end.

My ultimate weakness is watching men cry. (Meaning that I will start sobbing at a drop of a hat if you put an emotional man infront of me.) I would not be able to type if any of these guys had actually broken down during this video.

My feels, you guys. Has them.

The fact that is moves in and out of focus is a purely artistic choice. Totally. Thanks for the video, Tough Pigs!

Love these movie UK Orange commercials. I would rather watch these then another pop/indie music Coke ad…

A nice behind the scenes look at The Muppet Show! You get to take a nice, long look at all the people who put their work and effort into making early Muppet productions happen! Seriously, some super amazing people work behind the scenes of Muppet productions. I’m sort of hoping I may be one of them someday…

There are a couple of brief shots of Muppeteers close to the end. Oh my God, when Scooter runs off the stage? Richard’s face is hilarious. And when Steve runs off to get the cake - ack! He’s so young and adorable!

I cannot get enough of these videos mysteriously popping up on Youtube. Now if only Steve would compile all those hours of home video he has and do something with it…

4:25 - Aw Dave and Steve are A TEAM. Richard Hunt’s sassy face just chillin’ in the corner with Scooter. And Richard Holloway getting totally creamed. Best way to end any show. :)

I hope when I find my career I love it half as much as Richard Hunt (heard laughing at :40) loved his. :D
