Anonymous submitted: wanted to let you know I was at the Smithsonian today and either someone reposted an old picture of kermit in mourning for Jane and it spiraled or else he is already out of mourning because the arm band was gone. In case any one was planning to go see it.
Aw. I guess they just did it for the week or so. Thanks for the update!
2katewaii4u submitted: I'd like to enter the giveaway! I got into the Muppets through my dad, he's liked them ever since he was a kid, so he shared them with me and my sisters ^-^ <3
Aw awesome! Thanks for entering!
popstring submitted: Do you know where I can watch the Just For Laughs performance?
Sorry, not in it’s entirety. The whole thing was streaming for a while, but I can’t find any links now.
There’s a few videos on Youtube of selections.
paul-simons-oversized-jacket submitted: That muppets/Oz film looks AH DOOOR AH BELLL
It was enjoyable, though probably not the best of Muppet specials. Some Muppet fans hated some quite liked it. I recall being quite excited over it happening at all, of course.
And Steve and Dave’s cameo at the end was a nice SQUEE point as well.
I will say my very favorite part was Gonzo helping Fozzie across the log. Extremely lovely and touching.
itsdlevy submitted: Thanks to you reblogging his Guy Smiley painting, it's now hanging in my home. So double thank you. :)
That’s so cool! :) Aw wow.

mojoswork submitted: You've reblogged a couple of my Muppet pieces (Guy Smiley and Fozzy that I know of), and I just wanted to say thank you for sharing my work. It means a lot to me. (Eventually, I will paint every named Muppet character there is from Sesame Street and The Muppet Show... maybe Fraggle Rock.)
OMG I can’t wait to see them!! I love them. PLEASE do more so I can reblog them! :)
everythinganythinganyway submitted: i want to be in the giveaway! my name is tessa and i grew up watching fraggle rock because my older sister loved them. my favorite movie is the tale of the bunny picnic because i remember how real those characters felt to me; i was scared when they were in danger and i was dancing when they were dancing. i love all of the muppet movies and of course, my favorite muppet is kermit!
That is adorable! Thanks for entering!
I’m really glad I did it this way instead of just reblogs to enter. Because I’m getting to know my followers and that’s pretty cool.
:)
Anonymous submitted: whose facebook did that photo come from?
Assuming you mean the Eric and Herry, because that’s the only facebook source photo I’ve posted recently… when you click on the link it takes you to Alan Muraoka’s facebook. Strangely, I think the only way you can figure out if it’s from facebook is from clicking (or hovering I guess) on the picture and going to Alan’s facebook…

Anonymous submitted: Weird muppet confession.. I ship Freddie Mercury & Richard Hunt but Queen never did anything with the muppets besides the muppets version of Bohemian Rhapsody. xD
That is a weird Muppet confession…

Anonymous submitted: At urban outfitters they had some plush muppet ornaments and these key holders, one was Kermit and the other was a rainbow with "the muppets" written on it,thought you'd be interested
Neato! Thanks for that info!

connquest submitted: Have you heard about Kevin Clash, It's a sad day for Sesame Street fans
Holy crap. Just googled about it.
For those as clueless as I was, Kevin Clash has been accused of having an affair with a 16 year old boy, who was working for Sesame Workshop.
I hope that things clear up quickly. And it’s a real fucking shame that Kevin has been outted in such a way, especially when he would have preferred to keep his private life private.
What really bugs me is that a lot of people, and media, read an accusation and story like this as immediate guilt. I really hope this won’t be the case for this story…
Also, I suggest reading Julia’s take on this. Because she basically said what I wanted to say and better.
Anonymous submitted: I'm watching the newest muppet movie again and it just struck me,i know this is super weird, but I wonder what it smells like in a car full of muppets, you know?Like I bet they have a specific muppet smell that no other puppet has...i don't know haha sorry that's weird

Yeah that is weird.

warpstarwem submitted: I think he should be in it, but not as big of a part. But at the same time not too small that new fans are disappointed.
I totally agree that the focus needs to be back on the main group. Maybe Walter can be Scooter’s assistant or something.
As a former state manager, having an assistant is REALLY helpful.
probosowa submitted: I concur on Walter returning since he symbolizes the rebirth of the Muppets when you think about it. Both in the context of the movie and the new wave of interest in Muppets after the movie's success.
True. Plus, he is pretty adorable. And Pepe was introduced about 16 years ago and moved into the core group. Bean Bunny was established in the core group about six years before that. (Though Rizzo kind of replaced him, in my opinion.)
Not saying we NEED a new character every decade or so (how weird is it to say that? I feel old.) but the script called for a new outside character.
